The Jozi to Georgia Potjie Cup and SAFFA Market wouldn't be possible without the amazing volunteers who help bring it all together.
We're looking for enthusiastic, friendly people to help us create a fun, welcoming, and unforgettable day for our South African community and friends.
Whether you're a master organizer, a people person, or simply willing to lend a hand wherever needed, we'd love to have you on the team.
No special skills required—just a positive attitude, plenty of gees, a big smile, and a willingness to pitch in!

Volunteer Opportunities
🛠️ Setup Crew
Help transform the venue by setting up tents, tables, signage, bunting, and market stalls before the event begins.
🎟️ Registration Desk
Welcome vendors, guests, and potjie teams, assist with check-in, and help everyone get settled in.
🍲 The Outdoor Kitchen
Assist with setting up the serving area and organizing potjies, dishes, serving utensils, and meal logistics.
🏃 Boeresport Assistants
Help organize, coordinate, and referee traditional South African games and activities.
🔧 Runners
Our event superheroes! Assist wherever needed throughout the day and help solve unexpected challenges.
🧹 Cleanup Crew
Help ensure we leave the venue as beautiful as we found it. The true unsung heroes of every successful event.
🎶 Sokkie Wranglers
Assist with music, lighting, dance area setup, and keeping the gees flowing during the evening festivities.
🚗 Parking & Traffic Assistance
Guide guests to designated parking areas and help maintain smooth traffic flow throughout the event.
🛍️ Vendor Liaisons
Check in with vendors during the day and assist with any questions or needs that may arise.
🥄 Potjie Judges Support
Assist the judging panel with plates, score sheets, serving logistics, and quality control of the most important job of the day—taste testing! 😋
