EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
By purchasing a ticket, registering a competition team, registering as a vendor, or attending an AfriDaisy event, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
TICKETS & REGISTRATION
All ticket sales, team registrations, vendor registrations, and other event purchases are final unless otherwise stated.
Tickets may be transferred to another person if the original ticket holder is unable to attend. AfriDaisy is not responsible for privately transferred, resold, lost, or fraudulent tickets.
Failure to attend the event does not entitle the ticket holder to a refund.
WEATHER & OUTDOOR CONDITIONS
AfriDaisy events may be held outdoors and are generally scheduled to proceed rain or shine.
Guests should prepare appropriately for outdoor conditions, including rain, heat, cold, mud, uneven terrain, insects, and other conditions normally associated with outdoor venues.
Rain or unfavorable weather alone does not automatically constitute cancellation of the event and does not entitle ticket holders to a refund.
AfriDaisy reserves the right to modify the event schedule, activities, layout, entertainment, competition schedule, or other event arrangements because of weather, safety concerns, venue requirements, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
POSTPONEMENT OR CANCELLATION
The safety of our guests, participants, volunteers, vendors, and staff is our priority.
If conditions make it unsafe or impractical to hold an event as scheduled, AfriDaisy may postpone, relocate, modify, shorten, suspend, or cancel the event.
If an event is postponed, tickets and registrations will automatically remain valid for the rescheduled date.
If an event is cancelled entirely and no replacement date is offered, AfriDaisy will communicate available options to ticket holders. Refunds, credits, or other remedies, where applicable, will be determined based on the circumstances of the cancellation and any non-recoverable costs already incurred in producing the event, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
AfriDaisy is not responsible for travel expenses, accommodation, transportation, food, equipment, supplies, lost income, or other expenses incurred by attendees, competitors, vendors, sponsors, or other participants as a result of postponement, modification, or cancellation.
EVENT SCHEDULE & ACTIVITIES
Published schedules, activities, vendors, entertainment, competition categories, prizes, and other event details are subject to change without notice.
The cancellation or modification of an individual activity, vendor, entertainer, competition component, or other portion of the event does not constitute cancellation of the entire event and does not automatically entitle attendees to a refund.
POTJIE COMPETITION
Competition teams are responsible for providing the equipment, ingredients, cooking supplies, shelter, utensils, and other items specified in the applicable event rules.
Teams are responsible for following all competition rules, food-handling requirements, fire restrictions, venue rules, and instructions provided by AfriDaisy event organizers.
AfriDaisy reserves the right to disqualify any team that fails to follow competition or safety rules.
Judges’ decisions and competition results are final.
VENDORS
Vendors participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own merchandise, equipment, tents, displays, payment systems, permits, licenses, insurance, taxes, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Vendor fees are non-refundable for vendor cancellation or failure to attend.
AfriDaisy does not guarantee attendance numbers, sales, revenue, or vendor profitability.
FOOD & ALLERGIES
Food may be prepared and served by competition participants, vendors, volunteers, or other third parties.
Guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions are responsible for determining whether food is suitable for them before consuming it.
AfriDaisy cannot guarantee that food is free from allergens or cross-contamination.
ALCOHOL
Alcohol sales will not be permitted at any event.
Guests are responsible for complying with venue rules and all applicable laws concerning possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages.
AfriDaisy reserves the right to refuse admission or remove anyone whose behavior creates a safety concern or substantially disrupts the event.
CHILDREN
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety, conduct, and supervision of children in their care, particularly around cooking equipment, fires, hot surfaces, vehicles, water, and other outdoor hazards.
FISHING & WATER AREAS
Fishing is optional and is not a supervised AfriDaisy activity.
Anyone choosing to fish is responsible for complying with applicable Georgia fishing license requirements and regulations.
Guests entering or approaching lakes, waterways, docks, banks, or similar areas do so at their own risk. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
Guests are responsible for their own personal property.
AfriDaisy is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal belongings, equipment, merchandise, vehicles, or other property, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
By attending an event, guests acknowledge that outdoor events and activities may involve ordinary risks, including uneven or slippery terrain, weather conditions, cooking equipment, hot surfaces, open flames where permitted, vehicles, crowds, food preparation, and natural outdoor conditions.
Guests voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with participating in or attending the event, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive or limit any right or liability that cannot legally be waived or limited.
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO
Photography and video recording may take place during AfriDaisy events.
By attending, guests acknowledge that photographs or video may incidentally include them and may be used by AfriDaisy for event documentation, promotional, social media, website, and marketing purposes.
Guests who have specific privacy concerns should notify an AfriDaisy event organizer.
CONDUCT & RIGHT OF ADMISSION
AfriDaisy reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person who engages in unsafe, threatening, abusive, excessively disruptive, unlawful, or inappropriate behavior, or who fails to comply with event or venue rules.
Removal for misconduct does not entitle the individual to a refund.
VENUE RULES
All attendees, competitors, vendors, volunteers, and guests must comply with the rules of the event venue as well as instructions issued by AfriDaisy organizers.
Venue-specific rules communicated before or during an event form part of these Terms & Conditions.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Purchasing a ticket, registering a team or vendor, or attending an AfriDaisy event constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
AfriDaisy reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions for future purchases and events.
